Nearly two years removed from its last release, Drake’s Nike NOCTA Glide is ready to have another moment in the sun. The Nike NOCTA Glide debuted in 2023 and is largely thought of as Drake’s best Nike sneaker – or at least the most unique member of the NOCTA catalog. Oval-shaped cutouts within the midsole exude a Zoom Flight 95 sort of vibe, while a mesh/synthetic upper features a woven texture akin to carbon fiber. Nike didn’t release an all-black colorway during the model’s heyday, which makes this upcoming “Black/Iron Grey” edition a belated yet welcome essential. The carbon fiber sidewalls and midsole cutouts add depth to the monochrome colorway, while NOCTA’s hallmark yellow color appears on the outsole.
